Located in Doylestown, PA, Central Bucks East High School is 1 of the area's larger high schools (in terms of size), with well-maintained facilities & a host of activities to keep students & faculty alike busy. It was also the location of the school's Central Bucks East Mini-Con (aka Japanese Culture Club Mini-Con), hosted & staffed by the Japanese Culture Club. The Mini-Con took place on June 2nd, 2007, which was also the same day of another landmark Philly-area convention the TAKII World Tour was scheduled to be at, Miyacon (which we will get to in another "TAKII World Tour Archive" page ^_^). Even going to the CBE Mini-Con came as a bit of a last-minute surprise, as D-chan was contacted by Zenkaikon personality & close friend, Jackie D.R. Freilich, after a fan of both TAKII & Zenkaikon emailed her 1 day. The fan, Min-Jun, wanted to know "who was that guy who sang all of the Asian songs; he was cute & it sounded really nice" (^_^) from Zenkaikon 2006. After contacting her directly, the TAKII World Tour would later find out that she attended TAKII 3 ~Video Game Ecstacy~ & was blown away by what "the world's most extreme Asian culture fusion festival" was capable of, which was "taking Asian culture appreciation to the extreme". It didn't take long for The Asian Karaoke Idol Invitational to accept the Japanese Culture Club's invite to attend what would become their 1st (& only) convention!

<< JUNE 2nd, 2007 >> The date was June 2nd, 2007, & it was 1 of the hottest days of the year. PDNMZ Empire Internation Liason & TAKII Roadie, Mikey Z., got to D-chan's house early that morning to load his truck for what promised to be a jam-packed & adventurous day for the TAKII World Tour. The 1st (of what would turn out to be 2 separate appearances for the World Tour) of the day was up in Doylestown, PA for the local Japanese Culture Club's Central Bucks East Mini-Con, scheduled to take place at 2:30pm. It was an extremely hot day & D-chan was to perform in the gymnasium. The good thing was that bottled water was in abundance & there were many fans keeping D-chan & his Roadie cool. After announcements by CBE Mini-Con Chairwoman, Min-Jung, were made, D-chan was the Master Of Opening Ceremonies, opening up with an Anime classic in "Wakatte Itahazu" (from Fushigi Yuugi/The Mysterious Play). From then on, the TAKII World Tour proceeded to give the con-goers a unique & memoriable DJ experience, with song sets eminating from FinKL to You Seung Jun (K-Pop/K-Hip Hop), from DDR to Beatmania, & even a lil bit of professional wrestling (WWE's SmacDown VS Raw 2008, a theme from ECW's Extreme Expose)!! Though time was limited, the Japanese Culture Club & CBE Mini-Con staff were very helpful & excited to the point of wanting autographs from D-chan (^_^ yay)! It's a shame that this event wasn't better chronicled, as anyone would be hard-pressed to find any videos, or images from the experience. However, what does outlast all of those material things are the eternal memories that the hundreds of attendees would take with them for the rest of their lives, thanks in large part to the multi-faceted stylings of the TAKII World Tour!!
